Daylighting Solatube Global Marketing, Inc
The 4200 ft2 Solatube Global Marketing facility is fully daylit using a mixture of 160 DS, 290 DS, 21-C and 21-O Solatube product. By installing Solatubes we have improved our energy efficiency and reduced our company’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emmisions.
Every employee works under a Solatube, benefitting from the natural light. Our employees have found that they have fewer sick days, fewer headaches and decreased eye strain during working hours here at SGM. Employees are happier and healthier by being able to work under daylight rather than fluorescent office lighting. Greenest Host
Did you know that our web/blogsite is powered by the sun? That’s right, this site is run by 100% solar powered servers through Greenest Host. Greenest Host offers zero emissions web hosting, that provides another way for SGM to decrease their CO2 footprint on the environment.
SGM Recycle Program
SGM believes in helping the environment, that’s why we have created our own company recycle program. In striving to recycle 100% of our reusable waste, we have separate bins dedicated to aluminum, glass, cardboard and paper. We are aware of what is happening to the environment around us and believe that each of us can make a change.
SGM Green Products
Solatube is a green product and we are proud of what it has to offer our customers. We pride ourselves on using “green” products, including cleaning products. We have transitioned the majority of our cleaning products to natural cleaning products to help keep our office clean. Green Works by Clorox is an all natural, all purpose cleaner that we highly recommend. It is made from plant- and mineral based ingredients, all of which are biodegradable.
Employee Product Program
In our continued commitment to green living, SGM offers its’ employees up to $300 worth of Solatube product per year for them to install in their homes. We believe in the benefits of having Solatubes installed in homes and we are pleased to continue to offer this great program yearly.
SGM Hybrid Vehicle Credit
Solatube Global Marketing, Inc is pleased to offer $500.00 to any SGM employee who purchases or leases a hybrid vehicle. We believe that this incentive helps further encourage employees to “think green” and ultimately further help our environment by driving low emission vehicles.
