John M. Hanley, Ceo

Born in Sydney, Australia Mr. Hanley began his professional career in Australia after living in both England and Canada as a tool and die maker. After finishing his apprenticeship John continued his education in the Sales and Marketing arena and has worked at the management level for such companies as Comalco, Epping Rubber and Pilkington. Mr. Hanley is the original founder of Solatube Australia, which began manufacturing and distributing Solatube tubular skylights in Australia in 1990. In 1992, Solatube North America Inc. was established in the USA with Mr. Hanley serving as a director until May of 1998.

In June 1998, he founded Solatube Global Marketing, Inc., Mr. Hanley currently serves on the board of directors for other businesses including International Marketing Group LLC and HHH Properties LLC. Mr. Hanley lives with his Wife in Vancouver, WA.

Brett Hanley, President

Born in Australia, Brett Hanley moved to the United States in 1992 with the original partners of Solatube International Inc. A graduate of The University of San Diego with a BBA degree in International Business & Marketing, Hanley joined Solatube Global Marketing Inc. during its formation in 1998 and became President in 2006.

In 2008 Mr. Hanley helped launch SeaShell Awnings (also from Australia) in North America by serving as the company’s President and CEO of Vista-based SeaShell International Inc., which created shaded outdoor living areas that reduced heating and cooling energy costs, peak demand and greenhouse gas emissions for residents and businesses.

Brett returned to the team at Solatube Global Marketing Inc in January 2012 as company President to assist in growing the company’s extensive distribution network throughout Europe, Latin America, Central Asia and the Middle East.

Hanley currently serves on the board of directors for several San Diego area businesses, and was nominated for the 2008 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, and won the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneur of the year award within the same year.

Candice Clark, LEED GA, CSI, Commercial Business Development Manager

Candice Clark, LEED, CSI has supported the architectural and engineering community for over 19 years in specification and owner direct sales, offering design and technical support, training, and marketing of daylighting, LED, and lighting control products. Including 9 years with Solatube International in the commercial channel for North America, to now joining Solatube Global Marketing, in 2015, for a global expansion and mastery of the Solatube Tubular Daylighting Device (TDDs). She is an active member in USGBC – LEED for Schools. WGBC, IESNA, and CSI. Education is in fine art and architecture from California College of Arts and Crafts.

David Stockman, Marketing Manager

David brings experience in product managment, product marketing, and teaching to his role in Marketing at Solatube Global Marketing. His natural abilities in story-telling and business operations help him provide excellent value to our international distributors and their markets.

In his spare time he enjoys cooking, playing with his kids, and riding his bike up steep hills.

Marc Venegoni, Sales and Logistics Manager

Marc comes to Solatube Global Marketing with over 17 years of customer service and sales experience in the building and home improvement industry. Prior to SGM, he worked in the flooring industry where he managed  the customer service, sales and installation departments of a company with multiple locations in Southern California. The constant changing events that occur day to day in this industry allowed him the opportunity to use his skills of quick thinking and problem solving to ensure the satisfaction of all clients. He brings these skills along with his ability to build strong relationships with customers and vendors to this position.

He enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and water sports in his spare time.
